The holiday season is rapidly approaching, and we know many families, companies, and organizations are still wanting to have a festive gathering even while respecting social distancing. 

No social or corporate event is complete without good food! The holidays are one of our favorite times to do catering because the food is festive and often fun. This holiday event catering season will still feature many time-tested favorites but we also see a lot of fun trends emerging. 

Something that we are seeing a lot of right now for a variety of event types is charcuterie boards. You can custom order them or choose from a variety of standards. They lend themselves to a better variety and safer handling. Charcuterie boards have both savory and sweet items that we can design to meet a wide variety of dietary needs. Need low carb? That’s easy. Or perhaps there are food allergies you need to be mindful of when providing food for your guests. A custom charcuterie board makes all that incredibly easy.

A few fun items that we are starting to see more of for holiday events are S’Mores trays and the classic fondue pots are making a comeback. These are also both great for a physically distant but still social event.

This also includes appetizer options, higher-end meats, and meat carving stations, etc. We are also seeing some people want to be non-traditional when ordering catering for their holiday gatherings. Why have us prepared the exact same meal you will have for Thanksgiving and Christmas when you can have a taco bar or baked potato bar to provide a bit of variety? 

We support the Farm to Fork concept as much as we can both in what food we order and the menu options we offer. So a food that we can locally source will make your options great for seasonal produce and provide a much fresher selection. We do have wonderful vendors from other parts of the country that we order from if it’s a food item we can’t source closer to Vinita or Tulsa.
