To say we are excited about this news would be an understatement. Our signature event, Steak Under the Stars, is returning in May with two back-to-back, amazing events 6:30 p.m., on May 5 and May 6. Both will be on our Piguet’s Prime Time property. Tickets for both can be purchased on Open Table. The menus feature mostly locally sourced food from the meat to the vegetables.
Cinco de Mayo, May 5
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style with local favorite band Whiskey Poet Society. We will have the dance floor out and your ticket includes dancing, the meal, and one cocktail. The menu will look a little different than our traditional Steak Under the Stars events, but it will still highlight our amazing variety of meats.
Take a look at what you will have:
- Taco bar featuring our Wagyu beef
- Enchilada bar featuring shrimp, chicken, beef, and pork (all local with the shrimp coming from a locally owned shrimp company in Florida)
- Queso and Guacamole bar
- Steak Carving bar with flank steak and carne asada
- Dessert bar with flan, Mexican wedding cookies, and sopapillas.
We will also have a custom margarita that has tequila-infused fruit.
Derby Day, May 6
Make sure to don your favorite giant Derby hats and wear your dancing shoes for this evening under the tent that includes amazing food choices and, of course, dancing. We will have a live DJ for the event.
The drinks for this event will honor traditions at the Derby, including mint juleps and various bourbons. The menu is still being finalized, but it will include prime rib, glazed carrots, baby baker potatoes, homemade rolls, asparagus, a choice of mint cucumber salad or a bourbon wedge salad, and deserts such as creme brulee and cheesecake.
