Health is always a catering option

Healthy Catering Choic

When some people think of catered food, they might envision rich, savory, and/or sweet offerings that you might have for a one-time event or around the holidays. At Piguet’s Catering, we have plenty of options if you want decadence!

What a growing number of people are asking for, however, are healthy options at their catered events. What each person considers “healthy” can vary, but we love providing excellent and delicious selections that fit many different requests for healthier fare.

Here are just a few things that we receive many requests to take into consideration when planning a healthy catered event!

Healthy Salmon Catering

Leaner meat options

We are known for our amazing beef, especially our steaks. But did you know that we have plenty of selections that include leaner meats such as chicken and pork? We also have some limited seafood and even vegetarian options. No matter the meat (or lack thereof), we prepare the food in a way that is delicious and lean, whether it’s grilled, sauted, or braised!

Lighter appetizers and sides

Many people love our rich, delectable sauces but your sides and appetizers can be prepared without the rich and savory sauces. Just tell us you would like fresher food with healthier preparation and we can leave out ingredients to create lighter fare.

Special diets

Nearly every time we cater an event, we are asked about special diets. We want to offer more than just a simple salad (although it would be fresh and delicious) so don’t be afraid to ask about special needs. This includes vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other specific requests. We want all of your guests to leave full and happy!

Local sourced food

More and more people want to know where their food comes from and we’re all for it. That’s actually why our restaurant, Piguet’s Prime Time, even exists! Our catering company uses as much locally sourced ingredients as possible. This means the food is healthier and we can tell you more about how it’s grown, prepared, and served. Local food is not only considered healthier for your body, but for the environment.

Are you preparing to host an event where you’d like some lighter and/or healthier ideas? We’d love to help make your event a success!
